Barker Calder boot

We are very excited about being able to offer our customers the Barker Calder boot.  This 8 eyelet derby is handmade to the very highest standard in Barker’s factory in Earls Bartoni in Northamptonshire.  Out of all the similar styles form the various English shoemakers we like the Barker Calder the most.

Made on the Barker 460 last, this regular/medium wide F fitting boot is fully lined with premium grade calf leather and is available in three upper leather options.  We stock the cedar calf and cherry grain versions in all half sizes from 6 through to 12.  To enhance the boots foul weather capabilities the boot has 10mm goodyear stormwelted Dainite rubber soles.

Along with the components used and craftsmanship it’s the last that makes for a good fit and overall shape and we think the 460 last makes the Barker Calder boot truly stunning.

If you can make it to our Hurstpierpint store on the outskirts of Brighton do come along and try a pair.  We think you will be impressed.
