Excellent service is still going strong at Bradshaw & Lloyd. I had an issue with a pair of shoes purchased just 3 month ago. A manufacturing fault. They were returned with the postage label supplied and were replaced with no quibble. Communication from both Will and Richard was first class. They say you only know how good a company really is when there is an issue. Just like with insurance. I would highly recommend Bradshaw & Lloyd and I will certainly purchase from them again and recommend them to friends and family.

Bradshaw and Lloyd are a truly wonderful company to buy from. They are very customer focused and have been incredibly helpful and efficient in assisting me with my purchases. Prospective buyers should be aware of highly misleading pricing practices when searching for this company online. When searching for the Loake Kensington loafers, this retailer’s organic Google search listing prominently displays a base price of £249.17 with free delivery. over £50 cheaper than direct from manufacture. This gives the immediate impression of being the final consumer cost, allowing them to rank on search engines with an artificially low price compared to honest competitors.

However, once you click through to the website, it becomes clear that this advertised £249.17 price is completely exclusive of VAT, with the actual retail price jumping to £299.00. Simple see the screenshots.

While the ASA does not regulate organic search results, the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 (CPRs) absolutely applies to online businesses selling to UK consumers. Displaying an ex-VAT price to everyday retail shoppers without immediate, prominent qualification is a misleading omission.

It forces consumers to take a transactional action, clicking through and browsing, based on false pretenses. This systematic lack of transparency is incredibly deceptive and has been reported to Trading Standards via Citizens Advice for formal investigation.

If there were a sixth star available I wouldn't hesitate to use it. Richard and Will were exemplary in their service when some supply issues arose - they kept me fully informed of the situation and were always prompt and courteous with their responses. Fantastic range of quality gents shoes and boots. As well as long established brands such as Barker and Loake, their own range of British made De Winter Boots are beautifully made with a lot of thought gone into the details to ensure that these will be a long lasting purchase. I have happily moved out of R.M. Williams into the De Winter Boot range. I would recommend a visit to the shop for fitting because it is a great shopping experience where you will get the shoe or boot that fits you properly

I ordered a pair of Loake shoes, as Bradshaw & Lloyd were selling them for the cheapest price online. The shoes arrived very quickly and were exactly what I was hoping for. I ordered two sizes of the shoes and returned one pair. Unfortunately, I experienced an issue with the courier when returning the shoes, but the team at B&L helped to find a resolution. The team provided great customer service and I would certainly order from them again.

He is prompt and precise with written communication and available for a chat over the phone, which makes online footwear purchases a breeze. Prices are reasonable, and shipping to Australia is fast. Overall, I am delighted with the quality of service and product and highly recommend his website for shoe purchases.

I'm usually very skeptical of buying from overseas retailers. You don't know what kind of business you're dealing with and it can become CS nightmare. With that said the team at B&L are probably the best in the business on every level. Ease of use on the website, quality, selection, price, and speed of delivery. I visited Bradshaw and Lloyd this week as I thought that the time had come to buy some proper boots that are built to last.

I was served by the owner, Richard De Winter, who was extremely helpful in explaining the processes involved in making proper boots. It's clear that he's extremely knowledgable and was extremely patient in helping me try on a number of different boots.

I had reason to email a couple of days later and he replied courteously and promptly. And on my second visit I was assisted by his son who was equally as understanding and patient. I hope I wasn't too indecisive or difficult a customer? Either way, their service was second to none.

All in all, I don't understand why I hadn't discovered this little gem of a shop much earlier?

If you want to have your shoes fitted by experts and you want to buy some top quality footwear, this is probably the best place to visit outside London. In fact, it's probably just the best place to visit.

Bradshaw and Lloyd provided stellar service as I bought shoes to be shipped to me in the USA. I was a little concerned in doing business from afar without seeing a lot of reviews and called them up. Richard was friendly, helpful and very customer service oriented.

Unless you are familiar with the fit of a particular maker, I highly recommend you follow the instructions on the site regarding foot measurements if you are buying remotely. This sort of remote assistance is invaluable. The shoes fit well, but ultimately the style did not suit me. On return, the shoes were accepted without question and my credit card refunded without my asking!

Overall, an excellent customer experience and I will definitely do my on-line shopping for fine English men's wear with Bradshaw and Lloyd in the future!
